Teaser Tuesday #2

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly meme, hosted by MizB @ Should Be Reading.

I've only read the first chapter of this book, so it's hard for me to pick a "teaser" that doesn't have spoilers for me or you. So I'll post something from the opening chapter, that I think some people might be able to realate to. It made me giggle.

At the last second, my eight-year-old sister, Izzy, tugs at me.
"What?" I whirl around. She has little-sister radar for when I'm busy, late, or on the phone with my boyfriend. Those are always the times she chooses to bother me.

~ page 7, Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver

I'd be interested to read your teasers, so feel free to leave your links below.

  3. Great teaser! I love this book. Man, I was sobbing like mad when I finished reading. Lauren Oliver is amazing, have you read Delirium? That woman can do no wrong.

Thanks for stopping by my blog! Your comment mishaps made me laugh ;) I love meeting fellow HP fans!!

  9. Karen and Gerard- I thought it was fun.

    Kyanara- Thanks for visiting.

Brodie- I don’t know exactly what happens in this story, but I can imagine. I always tell my friends/family how much I care whenever we leave to go anywhere, you never know, it might be the last thing you ever say to them. (again, only speculating what might happen)..
No I haven’t, I entered a contest at my uni to win it, but was unsuccessful. It’s on my TBR list though.
Sorry about the posts, glad you had a laugh though. It was late, and my fingers were cold. That’s all I can say. I’m surprised I haven’t met more HP fans while blogging, but I’m new, so I’m sure I’ll meet more.

Priya- Yes, sounds pretty true. I was the younger sister, that’s why it made me laugh.

Bonnie- Thanks, I can’t wait to read and share it too!

    Mary Ann- Thank you.

Under the Covers- Happy you could join us.

Sally- I’ve heard good things, so was excited to receive it and start reading this week. Hope you enjoy it, and I’d love to hear your thoughts once you read it.

  10. I was having the same issue today with a non-spoiler teaser for myself. I was like, "oh my god, please pick something I've already read!" This book sounds cute.

Also, thanks a bunch for checking out my first TT. I really appreciate it. I'd highly recommend the book if you enjoy sarcastic remarks, haha.
